Royal Chocolates Packaging Design
Royal Chocolates is a luxurious handmade chocolate company designed to appeal to the everyday chocolate consumer. Assigned in my Packaging Design class, I designed and branded a line of packages for "Royal Chocolates". The Royal Chocolates logo was inspired by medieval heraldic crests, which symbolized royalty, wealth, and high status. The pattern and pattern colors were inspired by medieval textiles found in the same era as the crests were. The point at the bottom of the crest in the logo is also mimicked in the closure in the take-away bag. Gold foil was used to accentuate the royalty and wealthy feel of the packages and overall brand.
